INDIANAPOLIS — Layer up if you're headed to the Colts tailgate as temperatures slowly warm back through the 40s.
Morning clouds will clear making way for a sunny afternoon but a brisk northerly wind gusting to 25 mph at times will hinder high temperatures to the upper 50s.
Temperatures will drop quickly this evening under a clear sky and eventually into the 30s overnight.
The coolest spots overnight will be on the eastern side of the state with lows ranging from 32-35 degrees prompting a Frost Advisory that will be in effect through 9 a.m. Monday.
This does not include the Indy metro.
After the frosty start, Monday will be partly sunny and seasonal with highs warming back to the mid 60s.
We've got a major warm-up come Tuesday with highs in the mid to upper 70s with partly cloudy skies.
This will likely be the warmest day of the week with a more unsettled pattern bringing rain chances back into the forecast starting Wednesday.
Wednesday won't be a washout but scattered rain showers will be possible. Despite the rain chance, highs will still be above average in the low to mid 70s through the end of the week. This warmer pattern looks to break heading into next weekend with high temperatures dropping into the 50s and 60s.
