INDIANAPOLIS — Stray showers have been moving through central Indiana during the first part of the day ahead of the main cold front that will arrive this evening. A stray shower will be possible for the Colts' game but we'll be mainly dry under a cloudy sky. The roof of Lucas Oil Stadium will be open for today's game.
Temperatures warm a few degrees from the upper 50s at kickoff to the low 60s by the end of the game.
The front arrives just after the game wraps around 5 p.m.
Widespread rain takes over just behind the front from west to east around 8 p.m.
Rain will be likely through the overnight with the heaviest setting up south of the I-70 corridor.
Most of the rain exits by sunrise on Monday. The highest rainfall potential will be in the southern half of the state with places like Bloomington to Bedford and Columbus seeing over 1". Indianapolis is forecast to pick-up around a half inch with much lighter amounts expected north where the heavy rain misses.
