INDIANAPOLIS — We have another quiet day with partly cloudy skies and slightly warmer temperatures. Look for highs in the low 50s if you're headed up to West Lafayette to support the Boilermakers. We'll push 60 down in Bloomington as IU takes on Michigan this afternoon.

A warm front will lift through during the overnight hours into early Monday morning which will keep temperatures steady in the mid-40s overnight. While central Indiana sits in the warm sector of this weather system, southwest winds will be gusting to 30 mph at times to help push temperatures into the upper 60s Monday afternoon. Southern Indiana will break into the low 70s.

A trailing cold front Monday evening will then bring temperatures back to average. Look for highs in the mid-to-upper 40s for the remainder of the week.

The pattern stays quiet through most of the week until our next weather system comes in on Thursday, bringing increased clouds and a few stray rain showers late in the day. With a tight temperature gradient from north to south across Indiana, we'll see a combination of rain and snow both Friday and Saturday.

We'll have to watch the latest updates and see where this temperature set-up influences what type of precipitation we see.
