INDIANAPOLIS — A few scattered showers and thunderstorms started the morning. There will be more activity today, as an unsettled pattern takes over.
A cold front draped to our west will slowly move east. Showers and thunderstorms will trigger this afternoon.
There is a risk of strong to severe thunderstorms in north central Indiana this afternoon into the evening.
Damaging winds is the main risk with some heavy downpours possible.
Some areas could pick up 0.25" to 0.50" of rain. It will still be a warm and sticky day, with temperatures climbing into the mid 80s. Heat indices will be in the upper 80s.
