INDIANAPOLIS — The brutal winds have died down as the low pressure system that brought gusts in excess of 50 mph moves into Canada. It's a chilly start to Friday across central Indiana.
A slow clearing moves in later this afternoon, bringing some peeks of sunshine. The winds could still gust around 20 mph.
The wind chill values will be in the mid-to-upper 20s during Friday's lunch hour.
Temperatures will be seasonal, climbing into the upper 30s to near 40° later in the afternoon.
Skies will be partly cloudy and Friday evening will be cold. Temperatures will fall into the low 20s by Saturday morning.
Cold will start to subside with high pressure this weekend. Saturday will be sunny with highs in the low 40s.
Temperatures fall into the mid-20s Sunday morning.
Sunday will be mild and pleasant with sunshine and highs near 50°.
The mild temperatures will continue into the work week. Rain chances return late Tuesday into Wednesday morning.
Temperatures will be back into the low 60s Wednesday but fall with rain arriving on Thursday.
