INDIANAPOLIS — A low pressure system stalled over the Great Lakes region will finally begin to pull east today prompting isolated downpours this afternoon followed by a cooler, drier air mass settling in.
TODAY'S HEADLINES:
- Isolated downpours will be possible in central/eastern Indiana, mainly between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
- Breezy with northwest gusts up to 25 mph.
- Highs only in the upper 70s.
- Clearing skies this evening and overnight with lows in the low 60s.
MONDAY'S CHANGES:
- Highs will be in the upper 70s.
- Dew points falling into the "comfortable zone" throughout the day.
EXTENDED FORECAST:
- High temperatures nearly 10 degrees below average on Tuesday.
- Overnight lows in the 50s.
- Below average temperatures continue through Thursday.
Temperatures will slowly trend upward back into the 80s by late next week and eventually could push 90 degrees by the start of next weekend.
