INDIANAPOLIS — Radar estimates 2-4"-plus of rain fell across parts of central Indiana Thursday evening. Flash flooding hit areas from northwest Hendricks county to Noblesville and northeast Marion County to Anderson and Mount Pleasant.
The rain was so heavy, I-465 near Fall Creek flooded and the interstate was closed for some time.
Here are the radar rain estimates.
A stray downpour and rumble of thunder is possible overnight. We get a break from the rain this weekend but still be prepared for scattered storms on Friday. There is a low threat of severe weather and we don't expect a washout. Check radar before and during outdoor plans.
