INDIANAPOLIS — The weather impact tonight includes frost advisories and freeze warnings.
If you have sensitive plants that you want to protect, they will need to be covered or brought inside. Forecast lows are in the lower and middle 30s tonight and Wednesday night.
You might notice a gap between the advisory and the warning. An area of clouds coming off Lake Michigan will keep the frost and freeze to a minimum from Lafayette to Kokomo to Indianapolis.
A mix of sun and clouds is in the Wednesday forecast, but you will need that jacket all day with highs only in the middle 50s.
There is a gradual warming trend in the seven-day forecast, along with a sunny stretch that will last into the weekend.
Highs reach the lower 60s on Thursday and the upper 60s on Friday.
Make plans now for the weekend. It will be sunny and near 70 degrees.
