It is a good idea to disconnect outdoor hoses and put away outdoor furniture. Now is also the time to check furnace filters and maybe make an appointment for a tune-up. Once the leaves come down, it will be time to clean the gutters, too.
Under clear skies, temperatures will be lower 30s overnight.
Milder air is on the way with highs in the lower 60s on Thursday and the upper 60s on Friday.
The forecast shows 70-degree warmth is on the way for the weekend, and it is expected to continue into next week. Rain chances are zero through the weekend.
