INDIANAPOLIS — While much of central Indiana was spared from widespread ice issues this morning, we're all dealing with low visibility from a saturated airmass that will linger for several days.

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until at least 10 a.m. Wednesday and we've noted lowering visibility in the past couple of hours. If you're traveling tonight and before 8 a.m. Wednesday, please know that visibility at times may be near zero which can be hazardous to drive in.

In addition to dense fog causing travel impacts, another round of moderate to heavy rain arrives just in time for the Wednesday morning commute. So foggy and soggy Wednesday and this will be followed by yet another round of rain and fog on Thursday, which will be the third system this week.

The first delivered .25-.85 inches liquid totals the past 24 hours and the next two bring a combined 1-2 inches by Thursday evening. But it will be all rain and due to temperatures remaining steady to warming. There isn't a threat of freezing fog.

There's potential of a fourth system crossing through the Ohio Valley this weekend which could bring more heavy rain and possibly some snow mixing in. But forecast confidence is much lower on that feature at this time due to track spread in the model data.

Check back for updates.
