Morning rain is wrapping up, and skies are starting to clear. This clearing trend continues this afternoon with a strong southwesterly wind with temperatures peaking in the upper 60s — 15-20 degrees above average.

Cooler-than-average snap ends by Sunday
A much colder pattern settles in through Saturday with highs in the 40s. With a strong northwest wind expected through Friday, lake-enhanced rain/snow showers will be possible. Temperatures will then recover to more seasonal levels with highs in the mid 50s by Sunday and to near 60 degrees through early next week.
