INDIANAPOLIS — Lows in the 50s and highs in the 70s are in the forecast for the next several days and this isn't typical for late August. The average high is 84 degrees and temperatures will be about 10 degrees cooler through Thursday.
Expect temperatures in the lower and middle 50s early Tuesday.
It might be cool enough for a sweatshirt or light jacket the next few mornings.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be sunny with highs in the lower and middle 70s.
The numbers start to climb a bit on Thursday with highs forecast in the upper 70s. 80s are back starting Friday.
More summer heat is on the way this weekend and early next week as we forecast several days in the 90s.
