INDIANAPOLIS — It's turning even colder by the end of the weekend. Wind chill advisories are in effect and have been extended through Monday morning.
Sunday morning is expected to be the coldest with wind chill values near 25 below. A westerly wind will be gusting up to 30 mph. Dress in layers and limit time outdoors, frostbite can occur in as little as 30 minutes.
The wind will calm down by Monday morning, but it will still be a brutally cold start. Wind chill values will range from -15 to -5.
Mid-to-late week highs are expected to warm out of the teens and into the 20s. However, a late week storm system will bring back the intense cold next weekend.
