INDIANAPOLIS — Dense fog will create another hazard that drivers will need to be aware of as they hit the roads Tuesday.
A dense fog advisory will go into effect at 5 p.m. Tuesday until 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Visibility could be reduced to a quarter of a mile or less. Drive slow, and allow for extra room between other cars.
Warm, moist air is moving over cooler and snowy surfaces, creating foggy conditions across central Indiana. Dense fog will likely remain a concern through the end of the week.
A couple more storm systems will bring more rounds of rain through the weekend. The next round arrives late Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
Thursday morning will be another soggy commute.
Saturday's rain could switch to a wintry mix by Sunday morning.
With the additional rounds of rain and warmer temperatures, be aware of ice jams along rivers that could quickly lead to flash flooding.
