INDIANAPOLIS — It was a beautiful day in Indiana with the high soaring to 73 in Indy by late afternoon. That mild weather will change tomorrow. A deep area of low pressure over Indiana now scoots to the east and a northwest wind will give us a big chill tomorrow.
Whether you are headed to church or tailgating before the Colts game, it will be cold with temperatures in the 40s Sunday until about 11 am. Colts owner Jim Irsay says the Lucas Oil Stadium roof will be open tomorrow but the window closed so if you are headed to the game dress for cool because the high will only top out in the mid to upper 50s.
Sunday night will be cold and the National Weather Service has actually issued a Freeze Watch for Northeastern Indiana, including Marion for late Sunday night into early Monday morning.
Next week the highs rebound back into the 60s and 70s but with a chance for rain beginning Wednesday.
