INDIANAPOLIS — A wet and cool change moves in today, as a cold front moves over central Indiana. Indianapolis has had a dry November. So far, Indy had only recorded 0.16" of rain.
There were some pockets of heavier rain this morning, as we recorded over a quarter of an inch of rain by 8 a.m. today in Indy.
Temperatures will be mild this morning, in the upper 50s. The wind will be out of the southwest this morning, gusting around 20 mph. Light showers will be around through mid-to-late morning.
Temperatures will hold near steady in the upper 50s through early afternoon. The wind will shift out of the northwest, allowing temperatures to slowly fall into the upper 40s by early evening.
The skies slowly clear out tonight into Saturday morning. Temperatures will fall into the upper 20s to 30°.
The weekend will be sunny and pleasant. Afternoon highs will be seasonable, in the 50s.
More active weather moves in next week. Showers will move in again by Monday afternoon and Tuesday.
A deep area of low pressure will move over the Great Lakes area Tuesday night and Wednesday.
It will be blustery and cold, with snow showers around Wednesday morning.
Temperatures will fall into the upper 20s Wednesday morning, with a highs in the upper 30s.
