INDIANAPOLIS — It was a sunny, breezy and mild Thanksgiving Day and we hope you were able to enjoy the weather and time with family and friends.
A cold front arrives and drops the temperatures back into the upper 30s and lower 40s for the rest of the holiday weekend.
We are forecasting a mix of sun and clouds on Friday and Saturday with highs in the lower 40s. Grab the heavy coat, hat and gloves for outdoor plans including Circle of Lights in downtown Indianapolis Friday night.
A developing weather system will bring some rain and snow showers to central Indiana on Sunday.
If there is a burst of snow early in the day before temperatures climb above freezing, a quick coating will be possible. Forecast highs are in the upper 30s on Sunday.
Next week looks dry and chilly with highs 35 to 40 degrees Monday through Wednesday.
