INDIANAPOLIS — We've got a great Sunday to kick off the Colts pre-season. It'll be cool for the morning tailgate as temperatures warm through the 60s with highs in the upper 70s this afternoon. These temperatures are more typical for late September.
Cooler-than-average temperatures continue the work week with highs in the upper 70s again tomorrow.
We are watching an area of low pressure developing to our west which could spark a stray shower or two during the day Monday. This moisture will be battling some fairly dry air though so shower chances will be few and far between.
We're back in the low to mid 80s Tuesday and Wednesday under a partly cloudy sky. Clear skies would be ideal during these days as the Perseid meteor shower will be at its peak. Make sure to check out the northeast sky with the most meteors just before dawn.
As highs rebound to more seasonal levels in the mid 80s for Thursday and through the start of next weekend, we'll see the pattern become more unsettled with stray storms possible.
