INDIANAPOLIS — Dry and more pleasant air is moving into central Indiana now as a cold front continues to push south and a dome of high pressure builds in from the upper Midwest.
What a perfect weather day as the Indianapolis Colts welcome fans back for training camp. Temperatures will warm through the 70s with plenty of sunshine through midday.
TODAY & TONIGHT: Becoming sunny with highs in the low to mid-80s. Pleasant tonight with clear skies as temperatures drop through the 70s.
TOMORROW: Another pleasant day with sunshine and seasonal highs in the mid-80s.
What are we looking at weather-wise this weekend?
Saturday will be another great day – mostly to partly sunny skies and highs in the mid-80s. Our pattern will begin to shift on Sunday though. A hotter, more saturated air mass will push in, bringing higher humidity and the threat of scattered rain and storms, especially during the second half of the day Sunday.
Are we looking at another wave of high heat next week?
High dew points continue into the start of next week, keeping the muggy meter in the very uncomfortable/miserable zone. This will also prompt the chance of daily scattered storms. Air temperatures return to the upper 80s/low 90s through late next week.
