INDIANAPOLIS — The blast of arctic air will linger into the first part of the week. Wind chill warnings and wind chill advisories are in effect through noon Monday. Wind chills between -30 and -25 are possible under the warning. Counties under the advisory will experience wind chills between -20 and -10.
Highs will struggle to climb out of the single digits both Monday and Tuesday. Wind chills throughout the day will be between -15 and -10.
Overnight Monday through early Tuesday, light snow showers will be possible. Roads could quickly be coated and become slick. A dusting up to a half-inch is possible.
A pattern change arrives mid-week and will "warm" temperatures to the middle-to-upper 20s on Wednesday and Thursday.
Another storm system will bring another round of snow Thursday and Friday.
Temperatures will drop, and the winds will pick up on the back side of the system. Temperatures will likely fall throughout the day on Friday.
