INDIANAPOLIS — An Air Quality Alert will be in effect throughout Indiana today as winds shift to the west-northwest and will once again usher in a plume of smoke from Canadian wildfires. Try and limit extended outdoor time if you are sensitive to poor air quality.

Look for dry weather, hazy sunshine and hotter temperatures with highs in the mid to upper 80s this afternoon.

Spotty showers and isolated storms will be possible overnight, with temperatures staying warm and muggy in the upper 60s. After several dry hours possible during the first part of the day Monday, additional storms are expected to develop Monday afternoon. The increased cloud cover and rain-cooled air will hold temperatures in the low 80s.
