INDIANAPOLIS — We're officially back in "standard" time after falling back one hour last night. This means the sunrise and sunset moves up an hour. The new sunset time tonight at 5:40 p.m.

Key sunrise and sunset times for the next few months:

- We'll continue to lose "daylight" until the winter solstice on Dec. 21, the day with the least amount of daylight

- We'll then start gaining daylight until the summer solstice on June 20, 2025.

- The next time the sun sets after 6 p.m. is on Jan. 31, 2025

Now, for the latest timeline for rain in the forecast...

A warm front will lift through the area today, increasing clouds in the afternoon and bringing in scattered rain showers. This will happen mainly after 3 p.m., with showers possible through the evening. It'll also bring a warming trend with highs near 70 degrees.

Skies stay mostly cloudy overnight with a stray shower possible, mainly northwest, staying more mild with lows only in the low 60s.

The pattern stays more mild with well above average highs in the mid-70s Monday and Tuesday, but it'll also keep rain chances in the forecast. The better chance to see a few showers on Monday will stay across the northwestern tier of the state.
