INDIANAPOLIS — The 13 Weather Academy recently visited students at Eagle Creek Elementary School in Pike Township.
Meteorologists Lindsey Monroe and Matt Standridge spoke to approximately 90 third-graders about all things weather.
They taught the students about how our weather team forecasts, how clouds are formed with a weather experiment and even did the "tornado in a bottle" experiment.
The lessons are timely, given we are now in severe weather season.
Thank you, Ms. Kolb and Eagle Creek Elementary School, for inviting 13 Weather Academy to talk with students!
