INDIANAPOLIS — Downtown Indianapolis welcomed hundreds of Girl Scouts and their families Saturday for their "Circle the City" event.
The 13 Weather Academy was featured at the event and had 13News meteorologist Matt Standridge providing demonstrations on how tornados can form.
"Circle the City" brings together girls from across central Indiana and helps educate them on STEM activities — and even provides career advice.
Young girls explored the museums in downtown Indianapolis, the White River State Park and finished their day camping at Victory Field.
