INDIANAPOLIS — Today will likely be the seventh day in a row of 90-plus degree temperatures. It will be another hot and humid day with winds out of the south. Temperatures will soar into the low to mid-90s. A Heat Advisory is in effect for northeast central Indiana from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Heat indices are expected to climb into the triple digits today.
Any storms will dissipate by mid-evening. It will remain mostly cloudy with lows in the low 70s. An upper level disturbance will trigger showers and thunderstorms by sunrise Friday morning.
A few storms could be strong, mainly in northwest Indiana.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be around through Friday afternoon, with a clearing from west to east.
It will remain mostly cloudy with highs in the mid-80s, finally putting an end to the 90-plus-degree stretch.
Humidity will start to fall on Saturday. It will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs in the upper 80s.
