INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — It was a beautiful Fourth of July with lots of sunshine and afternoon temperatures in the range of 85 to 90 degrees.
Today, we will pick up where we left off with some scattered storms, heat and humidity. Yesterday was the 11th day in a row with highs either in the 80s or 90s. We will do it again into next week.
Your Friday forecast includes more high heat and humidity and again, those storms that some of you have already seen around the area.
The weather pattern starts to change toward the end of the weekend. There is just a slight rain chance on Sunday and we're forecasting a drop in the heat and humidity late this weekend and into early next week.
The weather pattern will be warm, but not as humid. And it will be dry through Wednesday of next week.
