The month of July started hot with a high of 90 degrees. This 90 was the third 90 degree day in a row. The hottest of this little heat wave was 94 degrees on Sunday. We are forecasting another 90 degree day on Tuesday and we will be close on Wednesday.
Higher coverage of storms will be the limiting factor to 90 degree heat and we are forecasting more rain/storm coverage starting Wednesday. Scattered storms are in the forecast for Wednesday and the Fourth of July. We are not forecasting a washout for the holiday, but there will be more showers and storms. Forecast highs drop a few degrees, but it will still be very warm and humid. High temperatures will be in the middle and upper 80s through the end of the week and the weekend. Scattered storms are also possible each day through at leas the start of the weekend.
