It has been a cold Friday, but as you make your weekend plans you need to know that it will warm up a bit. It will still be cold for the Indy Monumental Marathon on Saturday morning. Race start temperatures will be in the upper 20s. Morning clouds on Saturday will give way to some afternoon sunshine. Afternoon temperatures reach the middle and upper 40s. 50s are back with some sun on Sunday.
We are tracking a weather system for early next week. Clouds arrive Sunday night with rain to snow Sunday night into Veteran's Day on Monday. Where it is all snow, there is the potential for minor accumulations. Stay tuned for updates. Temperatures fall to near record levels. The record low for Tuesday is 14 and we have 15 degrees in the forecast. Some flurries and lake effect snow showers may impact the northern and northeastern parts of the area on Tuesday and it will be frigid with highs only near 30. We stay with highs in the 30s through Thursday of next week.
