In my opinion the Best Weather Award in the U.S. today goes to Central Indiana. Hard to argue with sunshine, low humidity, a pleasant east wind, and highs near 80. A true treat anytime of year but more so in late July.

The comfortable air mass delivers another pleasant evening and night with lows dropping back down into the upper 50s/lower 60s. With a clear sky it will be a perfect evening to view another 6 minute International Space Station fly-over between 9:47pm and 9:53pm. It begins in the southwest horizon and disappears in the northeast.

We're still advertising a one day warm up Wednesday with highs in the mid/upper 80s. Much of the day will be dry but we'll need to monitor an expected storm complex for damaging wind potential. Though all of Central Indiana is under a risk of severe storms... the overnight/early morning timing main ultimately spare us from widespread wind damage. Nonetheless we're advising you to be Weather Aware Wednesday night.

While severe weather is possible, heavy rain is likely and many areas get nearly an inch of rain... with locally higher amounts by Thursday evening. This system quickly departs by Friday morning and we're back to quiet, pleasant weather heading into the weekend - Sean Ash
