It doesn't get much better than this for July in Central Indiana. Temps climb into the lower 80s this afternoon with NO HEAT INDEX! A light east breeze keeps it feeling comfortable under a sunny sky.

Another cool night will be in store tonight into Sunday morning dropping into the upper 50s! Open up the windows and let some of that refreshing air in!

The wind will shift back to the southeast on Sunday afternoon and that will increase temps a bit for the second half of the weekend. Highs will be in the upper 80s under abundant sunshine. It will start to feel a little more muggy -- but we stay away from the oppressive dew points.

The heat and humidity build for Monday with a chance of a stray shower, mainly south, during the latter part of the day. High temps approach 90 with a heat index in the mid 90s.

We're tracking a quick system set to bring a few scattered showers and storms in late in the day on Tuesday after a high temp in the upper 80s. Rain chance 30%.

A brief cool-down follows the rain with highs in the mid to upper 80s Wednesday.

The heat takes back over Thursday into next weekend with high temps back into the lower 90s. - Lindsey Monroe
