INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis International Airport is adding four new nonstop flights.
United Airlines is offering nonstop service to Hilton Head Island; Charleston, South Carolina; and Portland, Maine.
The Charleston and Portland flights will be available four times a week, beginning May 27. The Hilton Head flight will operate three times a week, beginning May 28.
This is the first time Indianapolis International Airport will have nonstop flights to Hilton Head and Portland.
United will use its new CRJ-550, the world's first and only 50-seat regional aircraft, for the new routes.

Southwest Airlines also announced a new nonstop flight out of Indianapolis International Airport to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
The seasonal flight begins June 6 and will run until Aug. 16.
