INDIANAPOLIS — Air Canada is resuming its daily flight from Indianapolis to Toronto in May.
The flight from Indianapolis International Airport to Toronto Pearson International Airport aboard the 50-seater CRJ200 aircraft resumes Sunday, May 15. The flight was halted in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"This is another promising sign that air travel is rebounding here at the Indy airport and elsewhere," said Mario Rodriguez, executive director of the Indianapolis Airport Authority. "Our passenger data from the last part of 2021 signaled that Hoosiers are becoming more open to traveling again, and we’re all on board with that trend."
Air Canada will also launch a second daily flight from Indianapolis to Toronto on Wednesday, June 1.
