Flight delays continue at Indianapolis International Airport after global CrowdStrike outage

Thousands of flights were delayed or canceled again on Saturday, adding to the travel headache many are feeling.

INDIANAPOLIS — Long lines and delays continue at airports across the country nearly 48 hours after a global technology outage.

Tens of thousands of flights were delayed or canceled again on Saturday, adding to the travel headache many are feeling.

The look of frustration was a common site at the Indianapolis International Airport, with some even accepting the long wait times as travelers stand in line to talk to an airline worker.

"We are excited about going on a cruise," said Greg and Heather Knott, who are heading to Orlando. "I'm so happy that we left a day early because the cruise is tomorrow, and if we were delayed tomorrow, we might miss our cruise" said Knott.

"We got here at six o'clock in the morning, " said Martha Reyes.

Martha Reyes has been in Indianapolis with her family for the National Eucharistic Convention.

After their flight was delayed multiple times, they got a text that it's now cancelled.

"We're totally frustrated. This is like torture. This is almost like, how could this be happening? Because we feel that nobody can help us," said Reyes.

Reyes has been on hold with Delta for hours.

"They would tell us, you know, we have an issue this, this, none of the other don't expect to go anywhere today. You might be here two days or whatever, but they don't really give too much information to be on hold on the phone with them for two hours. It was just torture." said Reyes. "We don't deserve this. We paid five tickets, very expensive. We are family traveling, and we don't deserve this."

Delta did release a statement saying they are offering travel vouchers for people wanting to rebook their flights.
