Chuck's Big Adventure is exploring Pennsylvania

Chuck will take us to one of the best spots for fall foliage, plus show us some of the state's quirky destinations and a place where our country changed forever.

PENNSYLVANIA, USA — It's time for another Chuck's Big Adventure!

Chuck Lofton and the rest of the CBA team are hitting the road again, traveling east to what may be North America's best kept autumn secret: eastern Pennsylvania.

Ask anyone in eastern Pennsylvania and they'll tell you autumn there is just...fall-ier, and the team will see the state's most colorful and memorable spots.

What is autumn without chocolate? Hershey, Pennsylvania, is the home of the world's most famous brand, we'll take you behind the scenes for cocoa magic!

How about a shoe house? That's just one of many quirky destinations that make Pennsylvania so appealing.

The team definitely will be leaf peeping, with a trip via locomotive to beautiful Bucks County, which was voted the No. 1 place to see foliage in America.

And there's Gettysburg, the place where our country changed forever. The Civil War battle site still moves visitors to this day, and Chuck and the team will show you how what happened there still affects generations.

The color, the people, the untouched beauty. Check back for more sneak peeks of Chuck's trip below, and make sure to check his social media pages for updates.

Oct. 15 sneak peek

In a sneak peek of his trip on 13Sunrise Oct. 15, Chuck said he's had a wonderful time seeing Pennsylvania at its autumn best.

Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater is considered the best all time work of American architecture, and the team will take you inside the beautiful home.

Pennsylvania is also home to the largest herd of elk on the East Coast. Elk Country draws 400,000 guests per year to encounter the amazing creatures up close and personal.

And the Lehigh River Gorge provides a wild and wonderful time paddling your way to fall fun!

Chuck and the team will have those great stories in November, including musical ringing rocks!

Oct. 18 sneak peek

We are closing our shooting schedule at the Gettysburg National Battlefield, a place where this country changed forever during the Civil War.

It's a place full of emotion with countless stories of heroism and horror. You’ll see why 1 million people a year relive three defining days in America.

Our Perfectly Pennsylvania fall tour also stopped at the sweetest place on Earth, Hershey’s Chocolate World, the most visited factory tour on the planet.

And we can’t wait to show you one of America’s quirkiest but fascinating historical sites, the Mercer Museum.

It’s been one of our favorite trips, and we’ll  share these Chuck’s Big Adventure stories in November, and I’ll see you next week on 13Sunrise.
