INDIANAPOLIS — One person is in serious condition and another has walked away from a crash involving a semi truck Sunday morning on the far east side of Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Fire Department officials responded to reports of a crash on eastbound Interstate 70 around 4:30 a.m. Nov. 26.
The 23-year-old man driving the car was transported to a local hospital in critical condition around 5:15 a.m., and the 37-year-old driver of the semi was checked on the scene and released. The car driver's condition has since been upgraded to serious condition, according to IFD.
The driver of the Amazon semi was heading eastbound on I-70 when he felt a car hit him from behind and immediately pulled over, according to IFD.
Indiana State Police is investigating this incident.
