HENRY COUNTY, Ind. — A semi-truck driver was killed in a head-on crash on Interstate 70 in Henry County Friday afternoon.
The Henry County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened near the 130-mile marker in the westbound lanes of the interstate shortly before 2:30 p.m. According to deputies on the scene, an eastbound semi-truck crossed through the cable barrier into the westbound lanes, where it struck another semi-truck head-on.
The driver of the eastbound semi died at the scene, the other driver was taken to Henry Community Health to be treated for minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
