INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Indy's south side early Saturday morning.
IMPD officers responded to a report of the person struck at the intersection of West Southport and Bluff Roads around 6:40 a.m.

The person struck by the vehicle was pronounced dead, and the driver involved remained on scene for the investigation, according to IMPD.
