INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened Saturday afternoon on the city's northwest side.
Officers responded to a report of a crash around 1:30 p.m. June 1 near West 71st Street and Georgetown Road, near North Michigan Road.
First responders arrived and pronounced the victim dead.
The Marion County Coroner's Office identified the woman as 72-year-old Karen Reffitt.
This is an ongoing investigation. The IMPD fatal crash investigation is working on the case.
