INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Indy's east side Tuesday morning.
The crash, which also involved a small car, was reported around 6:30 a.m. in the 6500 block of Brookville Road, near South Kitley Avenue. That's just east of South Arlington Avenue.
A witness who stayed at the scene and responding officers attempted CPR on the adult male motorcyclist, who was pronounced dead at the scene, IMPD Ofc. Tommy Thompson told 13News.
IMPD's fatal crash team responded to begin an investigation. Northbound Kitley Avenue and eastbound Brookville Road remains open, but all other travel lanes at the intersection are closed, Thompson said.
