INDIANAPOLIS — All lanes of northbound Interstate 65 were blocked near the North Split in Indianapolis Wednesday morning after crash involving an overturned semi.
The incident was reported around 4:30 a.m. July 17 between St. Clair and 10th streets.
An alert from the INDOT Traffic Management Center said the semi was hauling 42,000 pounds of cargo.
Northbound traffic was getting around the semi on the shoulder, but INDOT said around 5:45 a.m. that all northbound lanes had been closed and traffic was being diverted onto eastbound Interstate 70 as of 9 a.m.
Around 2:30 p.m., INDOT confirmed all northbound lanes of I-65 were back open.
