INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Department of Public Works expects to close the southbound lanes of Keystone Avenue between Woodfield Crossing and 86th Street on Wednesday as the next phase of a road reconstruction project.
The work will also restrict access to southbound Keystone Avenue from 86th Street near the Fashion Mall, with the closure of both entrance and exit ramps, but the shift will also reopen access to northbound Keystone from 86th Street.
Two-way traffic will shift to the newly reopened northbound lanes of Keystone Avenue.
Workers will be active Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. with occasional Saturday work on the project, which is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
This year, Indy DPW reports improving approximately 32 lane miles on segments of Keystone between 65th Street and Interstate 465 at a cost of more than $13 million.
