INDIANAPOLIS — Those traveling to Indy for their Tuesday morning commute may notice some lengthy delays on the northeast side.
INDOT confirmed around 5:30 a.m. Nov. 19 that a crash involving a semi into the barrier wall closed all eastbound lanes of I-465 near the I-69 interchange and the westbound express lane.
INDOT later confirmed that Indianapolis Fire Department crews reported a large diesel spill on the scene.
Indiana State Police says all traffic in the area is being diverted onto I-69 northbound and drivers should "expect long delays."
ISP is asking drivers to avoid the area.
