BEECH GROVE, Ind. — INDOT is planning on finishing a bridge overlay on Interstate 65 near Carson Square near Beech Grove this weekend, so here are some restrictions and ramp closures to keep in mind.
From Friday, Oct. 4 at 9 p.m. through Saturday, Oct. 5 at 5 a.m., crews will reduce northbound I-65 northbound traffic to single lane between Interstate 465 and Keystone Avenue.
From Saturday, Oct. 5, at 5 a.m. through Sunday, Oct. 6, at 9 p.m. crews will reduce northbound I-65 traffic to two lanes between I-465 and Keystone Avenue.
From Sunday, October 6, at 9 p.m. through Monday, Oct. 7, at 6 a.m. crews will reduce northbound I-65 traffic to a single lane between I-465 and Keystone Avenue.
From Friday, October 4, at 9 p.m. through Monday, Oct. 7, at 6 a.m. crews will close the eastbound I-465 to northbound I-65 ramp.
Traffic officials said these restrictions will allow crews to safely complete bridge work on I-65.
INDOT wants to remind drivers to consider worker safety by "slowing down, using caution and avoiding distractions" when traveling in and near work zones.
All work is dependent on the weather, so schedules are subject to change.
