GREENWOOD, Ind. — Two Johnson County Sheriff's Office (JCSO) deputies were injured in separate crashes early Sunday morning.
The first crash happened just after 1 a.m. Dec. 17 in Franklin when a sergeant hit another car when it failed to yield.
The sheriff's office said the sergeant was going eastbound on East King Street, near Umbarger Lane, when the car turned out in front of his squad car.
According to the sheriff's office, nobody was injured in the crash, but they arrested the driver, a 31-year-old Indianapolis man, of the other car for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

The second crash happened when a deputy was responding to a domestic dispute just after 2:45 a.m. on South Morgantown Road, near Old Smith Valley Road, in Greenwood.
Both the deputy and driver of the other vehicle were transported to local hospitals. The deputy is reported to have a broken leg.
The other driver, a 21-year-old Greenwood man, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury, possession of a controlled substance, driving while suspended resulting in injury and resisting law enforcement.
