INDIANAPOLIS — Work on the Red Line along Meridian Street will lead to closures on or after May 22.
The work on the Meridian Street stations will be between 30th and 38th streets. It will include bus pad reinforcements and concrete pouring.
The construction will continue through late June.
During that time, traffic will be detoured around the station closures using Central Avenue.
For riders, the 30th, 34th and 38th street Red Line stations on Meridian Street will be closed. Northbound service will be temporarily shifted to stops on Illinois Street. Southbound traffic will be moved to Capitol Avenue.
All the work is expected to be complete by August 2023.
