INDIANAPOLIS — Motorists who frequent downtown will have some new construction to deal with during their drives.
The Indiana Department of Transportation is doing work on 11th Street between Illinois and Delaware streets. Those roads also fall between the Interstate 65 entrance and exit ramps.
Closures and lane restrictions will begin Monday, Oct. 9.
The work is being done to replace curbs and pavement. The project is expected to take up to 60 days to complete.
Here is what will be impacted during the construction:
- The left lane will be closed between Illinois and Meridian streets.
- The left two lanes will be closed between Meridian and Pennsylvania streets.
- INDOT will have 11th Street completely closed between Pennsylvania and Delaware streets.
