ISP troopers hospitalized after crash on Indy's near northwest side

The crash happened Tuesday shortly after 1 p.m. on I-65 south, near 38th Street.

INDIANAPOLIS — Two Indiana State Police troopers were taken to the hospital after the car they were in was hit by a semi-truck Tuesday afternoon.

ISP Sgt. John Perrine said the crash happened shortly after 1 p.m. March 5 on Interstate 65 south, near 38th Street. 

According to Perrine, the troopers were investigating a previous crash when a semi-truck crashed into their car.

Perrine said both troopers have non-life-threatening injuries.
