INDIANAPOLIS — The ramp from Calvary Street to eastbound Interstate 70 is scheduled to reopen by Friday morning rush hour.
The reopening is depending upon weather, according to INDOT. Clouds will increase Thursday evening, with heavy rain expected in central Indiana overnight into Friday.
NOTE: The video above is a previous report about lanes of I-70 reopening through the North Split.
All work on the North Split project, which has been under construction since the winter of 2020, is expected to be finished by the end of April 2023.
All lanes of I-70, in both directions, reopened through downtown in January.
The construction at the North Split, which was built nearly 50 years ago, is intended to improve safety and remove a daily traffic bottleneck.
