HENRY COUNTY, Indiana — Interstate 70 was closed for several hours Wednesday morning after two semis crashed in Henry County.
Indiana State Police says the crash happened in westbound lanes around 4 a.m. Jan. 31, and one of the semis caught on fire at the 129 mile marker, just southeast of New Castle.
ISP and emergency crews are working to clean up the crash area.
Police asked drivers to avoid the area and seek an alternate route. I-70 westbound lanes were diverted at the 131 mile marker.
All lanes were back open as of 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.
