INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - INDOT plans complete closures on some of the metro area's most highly traveled roads over the next month.
Crews will shut down all southbound traffic on I-65 from the South Split to I-465 starting Friday, July 12 at 9 p.m. They plan to have everything back open by Monday, July 22 at 6 a.m.
After a few days off, crews will then close off both directions of I-70 from the South Split out to I-465 on the southwest side starting Friday, July 26 at 9 p.m. That closure will also last 9 days, with lanes reopening by Monday, August 5 at 6 a.m.
This work was supposed to happen earlier in the summer, but rain in May and June forced crews to put it off.
